Teaching Artists

Amanda holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Dance Performance and Communications with a focus on Advertising from Rhode Island College and is the Business Development Director at the Stadium Theatre. She is recognized for her compassionate, organized, and reliable approach to teaching students of all ages.

Her career highlights include roles as Studio Manager and Ballroom Instructor at Fred Astaire Dance Studios, Assistant Co-Director and Dance Instructor at Dance Creations Inc., and Dance Instructor and Marketing Associate at Franklin School for the Performing Arts. Certified in the ABT National Training Curriculum up to level 3, Amanda excels in developing and inspiring her students with meticulously planned lessons and personalized feedback.

She has choreographed and directed numerous student musicals and plays and served as the Children’s Rehearsal Assistant/Choreographer for the Conservatory’s Spring Ballet at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts. In addition to instructing dance, Amanda has had the opportunity to perform throughout her career. She has performed with the Franklin Performing Arts Company as an dance ensemble member in many musical productions, including Matilda the Musical and Mary Poppins under the choreographic direction of Broadway performer Clay Rice-Thompson, as well as Something Rotten under the choreographic direction of Broadway's Tyler Hanes.
