This class builds on the introductory courses to ensure a personal commitment to the way an actor approaches and experiences scene work and techniques. Through exercises and improvisation, actors will increase their awareness and ability to actively listen to their scene partners and experience moment to moment work in their acting. Skills are then applied to dramatic texts. Participants learn how to break down and explore a scene’s beats, character needs, and given circumstances. This class culminates in an afternoon cabaret-style performance in which students will showcase their work for audience members in our very own Marquee Room on November 19th.

What does the Acting III class cost?

Tuition is $190 (Full tuition is due at registration.)
